Join us for AFAR's monthly Civic Kids Story Hour this Saturday at 10:30am, where we will read stories together followed by a kids arts and crafts activity and time to chat.
Susanna Birdsong from the ACLU would be our guest. Reading starts at 10:30, followed by craft and social time.
AFAR stands for Activating Families Across Raleigh. "We work to make progressive activism and civic engagement accessible to all Raleigh families." Learn more at https://www.afaraleigh.com.
Local educator, Deanna Hicks, will be guiding us through the activity. Arts & crafts may incorporate a variety of materials and methods, from paper crafting, paints and mixed media. Activities are designed to be appropriate for most kids ages 2+, are intended to be an exploration of the arts and focused on building confidence and fine motor skills.
No registration is needed for storytime and there is no charge for AFAR attendees.
